Chris Barrett is the founder of ContainerSolutions, where he focuses on making housing faster to deploy and faster to generate income. He spent 37 years in software development across high-performance systems, including nine years as a Vice President at IBM, leading large-scale, complex operations. He approaches real estate the same way: reducing friction, increasing predictability, and prioritizing speed to occupancy. As a former offshore powerboat racer, he has always believed that when speed is engineered correctly, it becomes a competitive advantage – and that’s exactly how he thinks about housing delivery today.

Dave spent much of his life as a tech entrepreneur, building several startups for himself and other companies. His last tech company grew into the world’s largest commercial drone pilot network (think “Uber for drones”) and was acquired in 2018. He has since shifted his focus to real estate investing, using AI in many areas of his business.
